It is a shipping retainer. I removed it. All is good.

I just had my passenger side rear shock assembly replaced due to a torn dust boot. Can anyone identify this orange piece that is clamped to the coils? It is not on my original shocks and I’m not sure if this was supposed to be removed during install.

Got them installed. They look great, haven’t gotten to test performance yet but the coverage is far better than factory. The install was pretty easy with the video and pdf instructions. I did run into an issue on the rear body mount bolts. They are spline shafted bolts with compression nuts...

Can’t wait to see how yours does on the trail. What raptor parts are you guys going to make?
