I have the original (larger size) SITH Shackles from AR as well as a BYOD rail. They take a long time to get but the quality is top notch. Message eightlug over on 6g Curtis usually responds pretty quick there.

I didn't do it for cell phone but used AR BYOD rail and tackform picatinny to mount my Valentine 1. I have tackform on my motorcycle as well.

Why would you need access? The remote air chuck is externally located, the compressor feeds a 2 gal storage tank and is activated via pressure switch. No real reason to access it where it is - spare tire isn't any easier I'd say even less so.
