I installed this a while back. I really like throttle sensitivity adjustment and being able to turn off the double honk was a bonus. Have not fully explored all levels of adjustment yet.
That is weird. If you look at the pictures posted on page 1 of this thread, it looks like TurboS has the MTI with Focal speakers. Wonder if MTI sent you the wrong Focal speakers? Maybe reach out to TurboS
Hopefully it will work out that right when you are done with swapping out speakers the amp and harness will get there to finish up but even before the amp, you will notice a much better sound.
You will definitely notice a difference. When you get to the sub, I did a plugnplaykit for that also. I used the Kicker Comp sub and Key 500.1 amp which he sells as a kit with the harness. Good luck and let me know what you think once you have it done. It’s a fun project.
Good to know. My current is Cyber Orange (don’t know why I put “code orange” in 1st post) and holds up pretty good. I can see where darker colors are hard to hide trail scratches but sounds like it is even worse.
I love that color. I would trade in my ‘22 Code Orange but have added to much stuff and don’t want to start from scratch with a new Raptor. With that said, I like the fender flares painted and the option to get the top painted same color although the black kinda looks nice on this color...
There might be room somewhere under the dash as that amp is small but I didn’t look. Yes, the power wire goes through the rubber grommet near the emergency brake.
Yes, much easier that working on a boat for sure. If you have any questions, let me know. I upgraded all my speakers and put a different amp on an upgraded subwoofer. There are a lot of threads on B&O upgrade so I learned a little from them all.
Correct…you take out a screw to the left of center and one inside the glovebox to drop panel giving you access to the rear of the headunit. You unplug the OEM harness from the headunit, plug the OEM into the plugnplay harness and then plug the other end of the plugnplay harness back in to...
I initially installed them with stock headunit & amp but later learned that the B&O system did not amp up the rear pods. Still, it sounded better than the smaller speakers that came stock. I did end up adding an amp for those speakers after a few weeks because I still wasn’t happy with sound...
I just had to replace a tie rod and could not find OEM. I found a set at Foutz Motorsports which are a little pricey but much better than OEM. I’m with the others, you damage is minor. Definitely repair.
I went and looked at one on the lot because I like the color. It looks even better in person. If it weren’t for Ford price hikes on Raptor, I woulda traded in my 2022.
