I only used the single top hold down bolt that goes to the factory "accessory ready" threaded hole. The two feet on each side just use VHB double sided tape. Hope that helps.
Great explanation on the differences between the two systems and can definitely appreciate the analysis on the materials and the OEM strategy for failures.
Thanks for sharing that perspective. I do love my Braptor and could not agree more on its handling characteristics. I have not had a chance to push it off road yet but imagine it will do very well. I have multiple Rams and recently got the chance to drive a TRX. I was hooked and am thinking...
I used California Car Cover for a custom cover for my heavily modified Ram 3500 and am very impressed with the quality and fit. It has flared fenders and customer bumpers and light bars and the cover was custom made to fit all those. I basically had to take pictures of all sides and provide...

I agree, good observation on the temperature. It really started happening as the temperature dropped at night (47 - California cold). So most likely with all the plastic covers and gasketing shrinking there is some slightly loose interference there somewhere.
So got about 500 miles on the Braptor and I started to notice a little squeak behind my head in the b-pillar cross bar (not sure if its a roll bar). I've been quite impressed with how quiet the truck is otherwise, but this just started. I can reach back and feel around while driving and if I...
I originally ordered a BadSquatch. Goal was to have something new, capable, and fun to take the family out on off road trips. We have a WJ Jeep that is, lets just say a little too rough for hauling the family around in for any long period of time. After having the opportunity to upgrade to a...
So after a lot of research and back and forth looking at different phone mounting solutions I ultimately decided on the Tackform setup for my Bronco. I first have to say that every step of this process from order, shipping, and receiving the actual product has been impressive. I was looking at...
