Surprise, surprise there’s another price increase….

interestingly Ford heard me and there’s a zero cost option for non-shiny flares in 2024.

every price increase makes me feel even better about my decision to order off a dealers allotment with an ADM in March 2022. I’ve also grown fond of my Code Orange which is gone in 2024. It’s understandable as 30% or more of the Braptors were Code Orange.

Just playing around with it…gives me a good idea of what mine would look like with the painted flares. I did notice that the beadlock wheels require the Code Orange package (no thank you) So couldn’t include them for these images. TBH not entirely sure I prefer the paint-matched flares for my Azure as opposed to wrapping them in a shade of gray If not leaving as-is. I’m sure at some point Ford will be willing to part me with some of my money (and FordPass points) for a set.

A lot of IFs, ANDs, and BUTs for Raptors . . .

Big changes:
  • Flares are painted
  • LUX package is standard (reflected in base MSRP increase)
  • Dropped 2 color options and added 2
  • Forged wheels are only available w/ Shadow Black, and then the beauty rings are painted :cautious:
Given that 99% of all orders include the LUX package, I would argue that the real price increase is only $705 (the cost of painted flares  ).

If they can paint flares, why can't they paint hardtops?

My 🌶️ Raptor is still gaining value.

Seems there is a few B&P bugs (errors), no surprise based on history.
For instance, CO appearance package contains Beadlock capable wheels, CO seat belts, & graphics for $2500, previously those 3 options were $3400 without the extra CO bits. Odd that the Beadlock capable wheels are not available separately.

Good News, there does Not appear to be any functional, mechanical, or hardware changes or updates since the 2022 MY, which helps ours retain value.

I thought CO was the one definitive color of The Raptor models? Now that I am able to order one they take the only color I wanted off the table. I now have a big decision to make about color. I may go shadow black and get something close to CO matte PPF for it.

Guess SB with CO package and belts is my best bet at this point.

With the cancellation of Code Orange paint for 2024 they should call the new option bundle the “Code Orange DISappearance Package”

Yeah, I can go either way with the flare painting...Not sure. One thing with the Shadow Black they already blend in. Not that they need to in any way. They just do. Looking at the 2024 build price the flares on the Shadow Black don't look that much different to me and even if they do the different black on the 2023 gives it some character. Kinda two tone. The painting to me seems to be a lot more important with the other colors if you feel the need to match it up.

The painted flares look good in your color. They might look a little circus-like on my CO, and either way, I know those flares are going to get their share of trail contact so I don’t think the paint is for me.

i missed the fact that Lux Package is now included. Your argument is reasonable for the 99%.

However, I’m a 1%er. I ordered mine with the then standard High package only (didn’t need/want any of the Lux stuff).
