Hello all... I justreceived an email from Ford Performance Warranty advising that a new Air/Oil Separator has been created for our vehicles. This is due to the hood rubbing issue with the model that they sold until early this year. They advised that they will be sending replacement units in October to those that purchased the older units. If you have not done it yet, contact them at: fwrnty@ford.com and verify purchase & address so they have correct shipping info.

Did they tell you what the new SKU is? I can't find anything saying the part has been updated.

Cheers

No - no specific info on part numbers... Here's exactly what they said:

"We are anticipating a revised kit being released with an ETA of October of this year.
Once the new kit is available, I will send you all of the revised components for your kit to improve the hood clearance."

Question, looking at this kit, I don't see any actual oil catch can that you empty periodically. Where does the oil go?

I'm not sure what product you are looking at, but the Ford Performance version I'm referring to has 2 catch cans...

That's a top-down image of the unit. The lids on the reservoirs are removable (silver hex bolts) and the bottom portion slides off of the mounting bracket.
Okay, got it, thank you.

You will want to wait until the revised kit is available from Ford Performance for our Bronco Raptor's. See below thread for details

The majority of AOS/catch can systems on the market are NOT CARB-approved. Is this the case for the Ford Racing/Performance product?

Tired of waiting on Ford to figure it out and the most recent part is sold out with no idea when it will be restocked. Any suggestions on the best aftermarket catch can would be appreciated.
I picked up a JLT Oil Separator from Summit Racing, works great, very simple install. Around $155.00

Any one ever installed the IAG Off-Road, Oil Air Separator? https://iagoffroad.com/iag-air-oil-separator-aos-for-2022-3-0l-ford-bronco-raptor/
I helped test this system when it first came out. I had it on my Badlands 2.7. Very nice system, well put together. I ran it for nearly two years without issue. I will pick one of these up for my BRpator. Pic below is from my 2.7

I have a Ford Performance guy who told me today he will corner the engineer on this project tomorrow and get an answer about the fix. It has been about a year. It will be nice to find out something.

Did you or your dealer send the email with your original purchase information?

Not sure exactly what the dealer has done. I know recently they have been checking if the fix is available since I told them I thought it may be available based on information I got on here.

Yesterday I decided to contact Ford Performance myself. I couldn't seem to find the Ford Performance phone number so I found a "chat" on the Ford Performance site. I chatted with Tom and explained the situation and he said tomorrow when he is in the office he will corner the engineer as I mentioned earlier in this thread. He gave me his email and asked me to send him the part number so I did.

Sure enough this morning Tom replied and he said "The engineer says the new updated kit will be available in the very near future".

I know they can't give us a firm time but it is promising.

I will let my dealer know and have them keep checking.
