@Dgchurch swung by yesterday to see if we could enable the ACC to come to a full stop and resume driving when appropriate in Forscan. The default ACC setting taps out when going below 9 mph.

The linked video I found pretty thoroughly covers what to change step by step. The process is basically two quick updates in BdyCM and ABS modules and then running PCM Initialization/Relearn.

The only issue we had was right after the presenter says “respond to the prompts” in the PCM Relearn process. There’s a big wordy dialog box that sets some conditions. One of which is IF you have a tune, you need to revert to stock before completing the relearn.

Fortunately, @Dgchurch had his ProCal device and we quickly restored to stock then completed the relearn and reinstalled the tune.

A quick test drive showed that ACC will complete a full stop and resume when the car in front pulls away. Pretty straightforward if you don’t have a tune.

Great mod, thanks Mr. Galt! After playing for a week, it works flawlessly. When the ACC takes you to full stop, after 3 seconds, the word "stopped" appears lower right of the digital instrument cluster, just above your distance away from smashing the rig in front of you information. Once the cars in front start to move, simply press resume and off you go. Personal preference for me is the full four bars of distance control when using down to zero. Takes some stress out of the situation....

Thanks for this info, my ABS as built does not match the video though, my 760-03-01 line has 3480 in block 1, 004C in block 2, and DF4A in block 3. There also is not an option to restore or write, am I doing something wrong?

Hmmm. I’ve only done this once on DgChurch Raptor and it followed the video almost perfectly.

So, I just went and looked at the ABS as built on my Raptor, and it closely follows the video. I’m guessing that I don’t have the “B” in the first character in the first block, since I don’t have adaptive cruise control on my truck.

One possibility is that Ford has removed the ability to edit this in ‘25. DGChurch’s was a ‘24 and mine’s a ‘22. I ran into this with Auto Start Stop changing after ‘22 model year, Ford won’t let you disable it via software anymore.

Can you send a pic of your ABS As-Built? Here’s mine..

I’ll try to get it hooked up and take a photo of it later today, but my 760-03-01 line reads across as follows. 760-03-01 3480 004C DF4A

Here is what mine looks like, I undid my changes and put it back to factory, so everything is working currently (when I tried to change and add stop and go, my cruise became unavailable).
