Yup.. Many of you may aready know this, but I discovered it just yesterday because I had the detailed oilpressure and oiltemp gage pair up.. While on an urban freeway while using cruise control, the road speed and RPMs stayed constant going up and down the hills but the OP increased going up and decreased going down.. The difference, peak-to-peak, might have been about 15 PSI IIRC.
Clever--a way to better oil the engine when it needs it and to NOT waste energy overdriving the oilpump when it doesn't.. I know my Cayenne 4L Turbos had such a thing, but this is new (AFAIK) to Fords.
