For those of you that have painted yours black, curious what color and texture has been the best paint match to the bumper? Not interested in linex or bedliners.

I removed the skid plate, washed and painted with truck bed liner paint.
RAPTOR UP4879 1K Bedliner , Black Hoping this will hold up well to trails.
Turned out well, attached are photos of the project.

is the plastic trim above the skid plate also painted with that?

I believe he used the Bronco w/modular bumper 2 black plastic trim piece as @BigP describes in this thread below. Resulting in perfect color match, however sounds like a few additional black plastic plugs are needed for a finished look.

Yes I ordered them from Ford , BigP supplied the parts numbers.

There are 2 parts a right side and a left side-

Part Number Part Name Price
M2DZ-17E810-GA Cover $32.20
M2DZ-17E811-GA Cover $31.52

I ordered them online from www.fairwayfordparts.net

I painted mine with this rattle can paint… easy find from Amazon:

Was recommended from many others on B6G forum. I am very happy with the matte finish and color.

thanks can you share some pics of yours

Another option, is to order the 2024 OEM Bronco Raptor Blackout package bumper plastic trim and bash plate. I don't have the part numbers yet but your dealers parts guy should. You may need a VIN of a 2024 Bronco Raptor with blackout package.

I inquired to Flip about this, not showing in the system yet.

I painted the silver plastic trim with the RustOleum rattle can and have left the skid plate silver so far. I think the color match and texture is an exact match. Ignore some of the white specs/bug guts on both the bumper and the plastic trim. Had it painted for about 6 months and 8,000 highway miles. It seems to have held up well against bug/road debris.

Before painting, I washed it well with soap/water, and put on 3 coats from the rattle can.

In my opinion, spray paint it first, and if you hate it, then invest in the OEM black plastic parts from a regular Bronco or the Raptor blackout package.

Looks great !

Welcome to BroncoRaptor.com! 🍻 Thank you for posting this photo, just 2 pieces of plastic make a big visual difference.
Thanks… a world of difference… I ordered color match rattle can for the tow points. I’ll do the skid plate in black once that comes in.

That looks so much like my Build, I had to do a double take.

New here! Just had mine done at the body shop. They paint matched most of the parts and even painted the mini bull bar shadow black. They said prep was moderate and took 3 days to complete. Absolutely love the finished product. Totally transformed the vehicle.

I guess several of us did not like the half black/silver look to the bumper. I used the Rustoleum black mentioned above but also gave three coats of Rustoleum clear coat to protect the black. Smooth as a newborns bottom!
