Traded in my 22' Code Orange Raptor for 24 Shelter Green. I added these Tuffskin emblems on just for a personal touch.

I love that color. I would trade in my ‘22 Code Orange but have added to much stuff and don’t want to start from scratch with a new Raptor. With that said, I like the fender flares painted and the option to get the top painted same color although the black kinda looks nice on this color.

I wanted to get some stuff from TuffSkin as inserts in the shelter green color to offset my code orange but they didn’t have that color available yet. They said they needed someone to send them an actual part, i.e., gas tank cap, to get a perfect color match. If you get stuff from them, you might see if you can help with a match for a discount on your order.

I would prefer to have Code Orange again....this paint looks nice clean, but very hard to keep it that way, and trying to clean it without scratching is another story. Seems FORD has very soft paint....not impressed with how their paint holds up.

Good to know. My current is Cyber Orange (don’t know why I put “code orange” in 1st post) and holds up pretty good. I can see where darker colors are hard to hide trail scratches but sounds like it is even worse.

Congrats Brother!!! My favorite color by far, hence is why I chose the same.

I suggest you have it professionally color corrected and then ceramic coated with a reputable product - it will SIGNIFICANTLY help keep it clean!

Received it over the weekend and had to take a drive along Skyline.
Love that color. Almost trader my '23 shadow black for one in my home town. Did you buy it from Myers Ford outside Elkton?

No, we did look at that one on the showroom floor, but didn’t want vinyl seats and they wouldn’t come off the price. The sales person was very nice and transparent but just didn’t have any wiggle room being lower volume. We ended up getting it out of Houston. Even after transporting it here, we still saved several thousand dollars and got the fenders and top in green like we wanted.

Yeah I agree, when you are spending this much money I don't settle for anything. Get what you want. Found that out as one of lifes many lessons. The leather seats should be standard. The wheels, stickers, carbon fiber I understand being a option. Mine came with the carbon fiber, beadlock capable wheels, and leather and the door and top bags. I just painted the plastic center piece of the front bumper matte black today. I really like the look. Was going to paint the tow hooks but going to wait. Need to figure out how to remove and leave the bumper on. Feel free to drop a line if in the area of the Shenadoah valley and don't mine a tag along. Retired with lots of time but not lots of money LOL Take care and I am jealous of the painted top for sure!!

I’m retired Navy too!
I was a Gas turbine systems electrician, served on old spruance destroyers(all gone or in mothballs)and Tico cruisers. Been retired 25 yrs , damn that makes me feel old. How about you, brown or black shoe navy?

All of the above. Technically black shoe though. Four sub deployments (637s), deployed on several surface units, but was PCS on one Spruance class ship, and was PCSd to one squadron. Retired in 2007 after 24 years.

Shipmate glad to know you. I have ridden all the local trails/Fire roads and forest roads in the area. If you want a liberty buddy LOL to ride my rig along with you again drop a line I would be honored to do so. Mild to wild it does not matter to me, I enjoy the peace and beauty of the outdoors I do it as much as I can.
