Passenger side airbag sensor may need reset, below images taken from our owners manual. Hope this helps.

That light comes on when the airbag is turned off it’s based on passenger weight so if you have a child in the front seat, the airbag won’t deploy

if your wife is over 100lbs you probably need to have the dealer recalibrate the seat. Other causes may be stuff hanging on the back of the seat, objects stored under the seat, heavy objects on the backrest molly panel. The picture a couple of post above has great info

Maybe look under the seat and verify everything electrical is plugged in and seated correctly…no pun intended.
