We do/did a lot of towing this past summer with our Braptor and I've been extremely pleased with how well it does towing. The boat is a 25' Lowe SS210 that's 21' long with the trailer and motor making it about 26-27' long. Dry weight adds up to be ~ 4,300lbs and probably another 800lbs with gear...
I wonder if using a smaller tire/wheels on your trailer help a lot because it would lower the trailer (especially the tongue) and therefore allow a drop hitch on the back of your Braptor which should allow the trailer to be connected a lot closer (because the spare tire is no longer blocking...

Thanks and yes my plan is to only put on for the fun days on the trail and probably any days driving in snow (or at least keep in the back of the truck). The removable tray really makes it a 30 sec install/removal. As for the winch, I can’t wait to use it but hopefully we’ll be pulling someone...
