Another F’ing Recall - Fender flares. REALLY?!?

I just received ANOTHER recall notice for my Braptor. This time it’s Safety Recall Notice 26S47 / NHSTA Recall 26V403

“Your vehicle’s front or rear fender moldings may become loose and eventually detach from the vehicle”

Has anyone ever had or heard of this really being an issue?

“A remedy is not yet available”

Yes we have heard but you are the first that I’m aware to have received the recall notification mailing.

Fender Flare Recall? Say What?

Been distracted with personal stuff and Summer is here...yard work. I focused when a Ford notice in the mail yesterday informed me the infotainment blank screen was fixed via OTA, check. Now when I go in for PA inspection I'll have the seat bolts looked at, check...and done, nope... Decided...

Lucky me! Since i am the 1st, I hope it’s a limited # of affected vehicles. I’ll take one for the team here guys (you can thank me later - LOL)

I wonder if Ford is going to give me a hard time since my flares have been removed to apply PPF. I am also curious what the fix may be - new clips? adhesive? new flares (I doubt it)?
