I‘m participating in a video comparison of Bronco’s that have had long travel suspension upgrades and 37’s installed and my Raptor (which stock, is a supermodified long travel suspension with 37’s). As part of the process we got on Metalcloak‘s CTI trailer at Rubicon Trail fundraiser at Metalcloak‘s facility.
The Braptor score was an impressive 590…. for a Bronco. Bronco suspension scores…. Icon: 540. Radflo: 530. King: 520. Bronco Raptor: 590. Stock Badlands Sasquatch is 480 and Stock JK Wrangler Unlimited is 540. Each 10 points is equivalent to .25” of travel
The highly built jeeps that were getting measured beat the built Broncos like rented mules. I saw one at 970. IFS is always going to be a challenge for flex….but they weren’t designed to be rock crawling monsters.
Off to do the qualitative testing this afternoon at the OHV park. I’ll post the video is when it’s produced.
