Congratulations! 🍻 That's quicker than my delivery in Michigan only 260 miles away, actually mine was sitting at Jack Cooper transit 13 days waiting for a truck load headed North. Sometimes it's just all in lucky timing. Love to hear your first impressions and opinions.

First Impressions- Trucks Great, Im coming from a 2023 Defender Carpathian V8 so It had big shoes to fill and it 100% didn’t disappoint. I do wish it had “RAPTOR PAGES” on the 12” screen like my trackhawks performance pages to configure the Raptor Settings. Right now all I can find to configure the Raptor Settings is on the steering wheel and the little DIC screen.

Congrats! Mine was built the same day, my modules came on 10/6. I ordered the graphics so it had to go to another building and it's shipping rail to Philly then truck to Freehold NJ. No delivery date yet, wish NJ was convoy also but the wait goes on, lol.

Those are big shoes to fill! Did you have any reliability issues with the Defender or any other reasons that you traded off the Defender? My wife likes the Defender so it might be in my future as the grocery-getter if the reviews are good.

i ordered a V6 Defender X a week before my Raptor order was placed. We’ve had it for about 6 weeks. We ordered it set up for offroad as much as possible, but wheels/tires are and will always be (without changing brakes at a minimum) a limitation for more aggressive off-roading. That said, we’ve crawled a few rocks without Incident so it’s more than a grocery getter for sure. The 20” rims with all terrains come in at 32”…..not ideal.

As a daily driver and for longer distances, it’s much more enjoyable than my buddies FE (and I think it’s pretty damn good for removable top and 35s). The Defender with unibody, hardtop and higher quality interior is great to drive. Almost 400HP in V6 gives plenty of power. My wife loves it.

it’s a bit early to talk to reliability, but fit, finish and build quality appear very good upon initial impression.

A couple other points. it will tow almost twice as much as Raptor And over twice as much as a typical.Bronco. The Air suspension gives a ton of clearance, lowers below on road ride height for ease of ingress/egress as well as you can operate the height from a switch in the tailgate, which is surprisingly handy.

Thank you for all the info! It sounds like a nice vehicle for daily errands and out-of-town family trips. We want something that is fairly capable off-road and safe in bad weather while we are out exploring on road trips, but also comfortable for everyone on the highway. Sounds like the Defender might just fit the bill.

My lovely wife has had a defender 110 for two years now. It is actually a remarkably well built vehicle. We have had only minor issues with it and plan to buy out the lease when it’s up. It’s definitely more of a road vehicle with the 20 inch wheels like previously stated, but the 4 wheel drive system is fantastic. Wildly outperforms my Chevy Tahoe on slippery roads On ice and snow. It’s quiet, stable and comfortable at highway speeds, just gets poor mileage. I like it so much I was about to build and order one for myself when the raptor golden ticket e-mails went out. I wasn’t selected but placed an order anyway.

Good to know! It sounds like a nice garage would be one with a Bronco Raptor and a Land Rover Defender, that way everyone is happy.

My Defender Carpathian V8 was awesome. Sold it for quite a big profit since this was a special order very hard to get. Exactly like the Raptor. Lol

That's a good-looking Defender!

It sounds like you have about the same requirements as we did, when we landed on the Defender for my wife’s daily.
