Here is a project I just finished

My goal was to find a place to mount the ARB twin Brushless compressor. I tried the AGS off-road spare tire mount. It Doesn't Fit!. Returned it and had to pay shipping because their website sucks and so does their customer service.

I then found the DV8 Storage Compartment (not the one for a dual compressor). I wanted the blank box so I could mount my items easier. Also I didn't like the ventilation holes In the bottom of the box in case of water crossings.

I installed a 120 amp circuit breaker and fabricated a mount from the existing battery box. I ran 4 gauge wire with protective loom all the way to the rear storage compartment and connected to the box via a Bulkhead fitting studs

The ARB twin brushless compressor is pretty big. I had to fabricate a mount so the compressor was slightly angled. I also fabricated a bracket for the Midland MXT575 GMRS radio to mount

I simplified the ARB compressor wiring and used the up fitter switch to energize. The Midland is powered from the fuse block and energized by the up fitter switch through a relay. I installed carpet using the OEM floor mat as a template. The Bronco Tool Box will cover most of it anyway.
Installed "chaffing" protection on all wires entering the box
I also purchased the Ecoflow 800 watt alternator charger. I wired it to the bulkhead connectors in the box instead of pulling wire all the way to the front of the vehicle.

I mounted a Air connector bulkhead fitting to the tool box and routed the air line through the box with a large grommet down to the compressor

After everything was wired up I can slide the drawer back in. I purchased the DFG off-road fridge freezer slide with tilt to mount it on the box.

Quite a project, wow!!! Well done. Can the air compressor breath? I'm thinking heat concerns when airing up.

I hope so. The tool box is spaced up somewhat. I will for sure be monitoring it. I thought about mounting a recessed computer fan with thermostat in the side of the tool box and pull power from the fuse block. That should evacuate any hot air trapped in that space.

Maybe set it up so you can slide the drawer forward to get some air flow? I like the fan idea. Would hate to see your radio melted from heat! I just know my compressor and connections get bleeeeeeping hot!!
