A 5 minute build overview and interview with the Ford Racing and Kincer Chassis design teams.
"Ford built a 1,200 horsepower Bronco. Bronco Nation is at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, inside the Ford booth with the Ford Bronco Frostwarden, the one-off "Mega Bronco" that Ford built to launch the new Megazilla 2.0 supercharged crate engine. We sat down with the people who built it, from the Ford Racing Parts team to Kincer Chassis in Tennessee, to find out how this build came together."
"The Megazilla 2.0 is a supercharged 7.3-liter Godzilla V8 with a 3.0-liter Gen 6 Whipple supercharger, and Ford calls it the most powerful crate engine ever created by an automaker: over 1,200 horsepower and over 1,000 lb-ft of torque on race fuel. It isn't just the original Megazilla with a blower on top. Ford gave it its own development program, with a stronger block, a Callies forged crankshaft, a supercharger-specific camshaft, upgraded pistons, rods and rings, and larger fuel injectors. In the Frostwarden, it breathes through 304 stainless equal-length headers that took more than 200 hours to build, and it's backed by the 10-speed transmission from the Super Duty and an Atlas dual-stick transfer case."
"The Frostwarden started as an idea: what's the ultimate Arctic search-and-rescue Bronco with no limits? It rides on 42-inch BFGoodrich tires wrapped around custom 18-inch Weld beadlock wheels, with 74Weld portal axles, custom Bilstein shocks and a Dana 60 rear axle. The wheelbase was stretched one inch to fit the Fiberwerx fender flares, the frame was completely torn down, and every fastener underneath was nickel plated. Up top, an RTR roof rack sits on custom mounts made by Kincer."
"The Frostwarden is a one-of-a-kind halo build, but the Megazilla 2.0 is coming to Ford Racing Parts as a crate engine, which means the heart of this build will be available for your Bronco, Mustang, truck, or first-generation Bronco. Frostwarden is the pinnacle of what a custom Bronco can be, and we hope it inspires your next build."
