Anyone here work for Ford Corporate and can guide me to someone at Ford about dealers not doing the 2026 Bronco Raptor Wire Harness Recall.

I have a 2026 Bronco Raptor and received in the mail the recall on the wire harness stating ”parts are available“. CallEd my dealer last week and after much confusion on there end they called back said they have the parts and scheduled a 9am Monday (today) service for the recall.

Dealer calls me back after having the truck for 4 hours saying they can’t and won’t do the recall as parts are not available and Ford has not guided them on this recall for processing payments or sent parts . WTF? They’ve had my appointment scheduled for a week, check and said they have the parts…tape and conduit…. Now they say they have NO DIRECTION FROM FORD to perform the recall or the parts.

I picked up my Bronco Raptor and called to other dealers near me and they no nothing about this recall, don’t have parts and all 3 say just because Ford has a recall doesn’t mean they will fix it or have the parts for the recall. I reminded them I called and they checked and had the parts last week.

My Ford Dealership Kings Ford Mason Ohio. Has called me, ordered and received the parts for the recall #26S55 and has scheduled the install of the parts for August 25th. I will let you know how that goes.

They also informed me of Recall # 26E04
(Ford recall campaign 26E04 involves a powertrain control module (PCM) software update required for select Ford vehicles. The remedy addresses specific powertrain or transmission control system software calibration parameters to ensure proper operation and component protection.)
I did ask them if this will effect my Ford Performance tune?
Waiting on an answer for that one, or perhaps some on on this board might have information.

Also Recall 26S47 (Recall Incomplete, remedy not yet available)
Ford Recall 26S47 involves 36,046 select 2022–2026 Ford Bronco SUVs because poorly secured fender flares can detach and become a road hazard. Dealers will inspect, repair, or replace the parts for free. Interim owner notification letters began mailing on August 10, 2026

I'm in the same boat. Wiring harness and PCM scheduled to be fixed on Aug 25. Shall see.

Ya, I just got the fender recall, too. Mine says the problem has no fix for it yet, though. I'm to worried about it as mine have been thru a lot of wheeling and a few 114mph runs. Still stayed on. lol!

Hopefully both the recalls go smoothly.

I also have appointment tomorrow morning for the harness recall, I’ll let you guys know what happens ✌️🤞

Got the harness recall done and only took 3 hours😅 just fyi they have parts for the Raptors only and the other Broncos the end of September ✌️

More venting…lol…but I’m so pissed off now and frustrated with FORD.

Well Karl Flammer Ford here in the Tampa area (Tarpon Springs) is horrible…. real jerks and they will not do the recall. The service guy there is so confused with absolutely wrong info. They’ve lost me for future service and vehicle sales.

I called another Ford dealer north of me and they keep claiming they are not making appointments yet as they do not know how to do the fix…morons… I kept explaining the Bronco Raptor …mine is a 2026 has the fix and I have the Fprd letter saying so. Doesn’t matter they don’t listen nor care what Ford says

I’ll call another dealer down in Tampa on Monday… Ford the manufacturer really need to do better training and communication with dealers on this…what a f’n mess for something so simple.

That stinks! Lazy service dept. or just plain ignorant. My friend just bought a 26 Braptor and he did it himself this morning. All he did was see where the affected wiring loom was located and he wrapped it more with proper materials. He hates service dept's and the inept tech's. He accessed the affected are thru the top. He had to remove the windshield water reservoir to fix the issue.

I have the Ford service bulletin showing the techs the fix. It’s stupid simple.

Had the wiring harness and PCM recalls done yesterday. Dropped the rig off at 8am and they were done by 2pm. Just peeking under the hood you can see the extra protection on the wiring harness. I did not pop the flare and liner out to fully inspect.

The PCM did take my ProCal tune off. I put it back on without issue. For folks wondering if their tune is installed or not, you'll get 17-19lbs of boost wide open without the tune; you'll get 23-26lbs of boost wide open if it's installed.

All in all pretty darn seamless experience.

My wiring harness recall was completed, As to the PCM recall, also having the Ford performance tune, MY dealership elected not to do the PCM recall, stating that it was emissions control update. So at least one of us with the Performance tune has the update and the other does not. We will see where it goes from there.

That is sucky. Im still gonna ask if there is a way to not do that when I take mine in.

Same how can I make sure my tune stays on? Unfortunately I have no way to get the tune back on if it’s taken off as my computer is a Mac and the ProCal only works only with a windows machine???

Don't have the PCCM recall completed, that's what my Ford Dealer chose to do.

What exactly does the pccm recall do?

I am not exactly sure, they started it had to do with emissions. But they did not do mine because of the Ford Preference tune I had installed.

I you have the tuner it should be on that. Mine is still on my tuner.
