New raptor owner as of 12/31/24, Cactus Gray and fully optioned except for graphics. Long-time roadrace/trackday guy. Was looking for something different and outrageous this time around to battle the minions five days a week on our roadways and get far, far away into the wilderness on the weekends. I think the BRaptor fits the bill.

Although I am a full-fledged modaholic, I won't be doing any crazy builds or adding performance parts as I have, sadly, an extended warranty for the foreseeable future. Doing mostly convenience mods and I have a handful done already. I've added more interior lighting, storage, door sill protectors, infotainment screen protector, radar detector mount, rear cargo cover, seat back protectors, a Wolfbox G900 Pro and am in the process of upgrading the speakers and adding a center console safe. Beyond that, a few Forscan mods are planned along with lighting, rack and other exterior upgrades for hitting the great outdoors. I will live vicariously though the more adventurous members on the power and more invasive mods.

My first mod was to download a majority of the factory service manual (what a pain) but didn't get it all this go-around.

Need better photos and it's sad to say I'm an actual pro at that but with a distinct lack of time currently.

And for Gosh sakes, get that beast dirty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm working on it. I still remember the first time I ever drove into San Antonio. My first thought was a) I didn't know this many pickup trucks actually existed, b) there must be a lot of tumble weeds because everyone has brush guards and c) why are all the cars so gray and dirty looking? Do they not wash them?

So give it time. I want to get some PPF on there before I go offloading. Planning on a Big Bend trip some time soon and Glacier National Park late Summer to hang out with Grizzly Bears.

So far I've stuck with "convenience" mods, better LED interior lighting, Wolfbox camera/rear view mirror system and I've upgraded all the speakers with a Mobridge to follow. Have lights and a Bimini top coming this week along with a Ford Performance read diff cover which I'll have the dealer install due to the warranty. Cover your ass sort of thing even though I'm perfectly capable. Going to have them drain and fill all three diffs as well.

Strangely, it came with an aftermarket diverter (BOV) and they Blue certified it. We'll see how that goes. I never hear it honestly.

But yes, a full 3.0 build, larger turbos and supporting hardware did cross my mind. I keep asking myself how fast I can change out the intercooler if needed and I did look at the JB4 and decided it wasn't worth the squeeze (I tune other cars so no compromises.)

Glad to hear you’re having some modaholic fun with it. Keep in mind the OEM Garret Turbos on the Bronco Raptor are from the Ford GT with anti-lag technology in Baja mode. Rumor about a year ago was Whipple was developing larger Turbos for the Bronco Raptor, but have not heard anything since.
