'24 Bronco Raptor
Some of these photos have already seen from my member intro post but I'm going to include them anyway. This will be a slow build since I enjoy it stock for now. I prefer to leave things alone until I see the 'need' to start tearing into everything. The 'want' usually takes over pretty fast though..

So for now this thread will be more of a photo journal of the places my wife and I take the BRaptor. I am not a writer or a photographer so don't judge me too hard:ROFLMAO:

If anyone uses instagram mine is @bidfast.killian

I live in the Mojave Desert of California so I have endless desert to explore and the mountains of Big Bear nearby. I've lived out here my entire life and still find new trails and things I've never seen before every time I go out. I have a Can-am Maverick X3 that has been awesome but they're not street legal in California. We wanted a street legal offroad toy to explore areas that the X3 couldn't. The mark ups were insane on the Braptors in 2023 so we settled for a EcoDiesel Wrangler Rubicon. In march of this year the stars aligned and pricing made sense so we pulled the trigger on a new 2024 Bronco Raptor. We heavily considered the Shelter Green one in the background, but we didn't fall in love with the color at first sight. Plus the Cactus Gray is a little closer in color to our Can-am.

I'm sure nearly everyone on here uses or has at least heard of onX Offroad. This app has ruined my life:ROFLMAO: I call it my bucket list app. I've spent countless sleepless nights zoomed in on trails, washes and everything else marking different areas and things of interest. At the time of this post I have exactly 1,852 pins on this app. Red for mines, blue for structures/old cattle pens/cars etc.. Green is for places I've been. White for airmail arrows and couple unrelated pins that I need to update. Black for cool things I can't see because the military owns that land.

Side note- Make sure to speak up to protect our public land

This looked like 2 abandoned cars in a wash on BLM land. My wife and I made a "quick" detour to check it out and were not disappointed

I know this thread is for the Bronco but here's my X3 I mentioned earlier. A little before and after. This was also a somewhat slow build that snowballed

Back on topic.. We've only had it 3 months now and it touches dirt nearly every weekend. I do work 6-7 days a week so sometimes it's just a quick run to catch the sunset.

This was its first time off road and getting familiar with it

In April my wife and I were able take off Friday night and have a little weekend getaway in Joshua Tree. We prefer to go further out of town and explore the Old Dale Mining District. I only have a few photos uploaded but there was a lot of fun stuff to see! Maybe I'll get around and upload some more photos of that trip. I have around 200 onX pins in that area. I've been there three times and still have so much to see!

Then the following week in May we decided to check out "Bronco Knoll" near Cougar Buttes. I was pretty stoked to find the coordinates in the tail gate area were somewhere close to me. Not stoked to find beer bottles and trash there. I picked up whatever I could. I love old rusty cars and mining junk in the desert but not straight trash.

So far the only thing we've done is have the windows tinted.

Great pics and adventure. Congrats on the new Raptor and Welcome. Pretty coo!

Thanks for sharing - you certainly have the perfect rig for the perfect weekend exploration opportunities!

I always bring (at least 1) garbage bag everywhere I wheel - it really toasts my bread how much trash I find while out in the trails and clean up where/when I can. I don’t understand how people get far off the pavement and then think it’s OK to just leave their trash - one can only imagine what their homes look like! 🤮

Great pics, looks like you’re having a lot of fun!
Cactus gray….all the way! Here’s a picture of mine!
