I have always been a fan of performance over flash. While squeezing more HP's out of our twin turbo six's is great, reducing weight can do wonders as well.

Have any of you weighed the front and rear stock take-off bumpers yet? I'm not sure what the savings would be but that is my next mod.

There are a very small amount of aluminum aftermarket bumpers out there. Anyone out there have any experience?

Sorry, I seem to continually add weight not remove it from my rig. My Braptor is awesome but far from what I would consider nor use it as a performance vehicle. (I have some other toys that scratch that itch)

The Velociraptor 500 by Hennessey Performance has what appears to be lighter weight bumpers along with rear bumper integrated air release to possibly reduce drag. I'm not aware of the specs but may be worth an inquiry.

Not sure what the front bumper weighs. I've lifted it with the JCR bull bar off the Bronco and it isn't light. But that's what's needed to help run over Toyota Corollas.. I don't think an aluminum bumper would fare very well.
