Hi Everyone,

Been missing here. I love reading about everyone's tools.....Gotta love Bronco gear. Broke my shoulder on my dirt bike a month ago. Wow. I smacked hard. Heading to Colorado end of the month to meet a bunch of buddies off roading. I should be in relatively good shape for the trip. Taking the new trailer. I absolutely love this thing. Haven't used it yet but making sure we have everything we need. Been camping and RVing my whole life so have a lot of stuff but not all here. In the summer we live in Grizzly territory. Not a big of a fan being killed by a Grizzly. It happens. Some tent and some don't. I like the idea of four walls and like being set up to pull in and get down to some grub and comfort.

So now a bit of overlanding to enhance the Raptor experience. Because of the soft ride I sag a bit in the rear but not too much. There are remedies for this but it seems manageable. Trailer is max 3500 pounds. Basically 3000 will be tops. So a good fit.

Ordered some BuiltRight Molly panes and bags as well. The rear door doesn't open while the trailer is hooked up so now the dog goes on the back seats folded down and a re work of gear in the rear. Hence the molly panels and bags. It is actually better for the gear and the dog. Will show the molly panels as well once done. Camping by myself I will throw camp gear on the back seats (folded down) and the rest of the gear will be strapped.

This thing is a beast. I will do a run down of the Colorado trip. It will be a hell of a lot better than tenting at King of the Hammers as well. Tried tenting again and the gear is so much better now but it didn't rock my world. This is a better way to roll for us.

Looks like a nice setup @Roughstock - can’t wait to live vicariously through your adventures. Godspeed my Bronco Buddy!

Yes my friend. Thanks

I like it, even has matching KO2's with very similar styled wheels, congrats! Stay safe and have Fun!

Curious, what is your tongue weight at? I have a similar trailer, and even at 240lbs, the rear of my Bronco sags, and I hate it. I even upgraded my springs, and it still sags. I wish someone would come out with an airbag solution for these.

Yes thanks the KO2's are pretty cool and the fake bead locks are perfect. I probably won't be airing down much. They were saying you don't really need to as you are slowly working through terrain. 22 psi is good if need be and they even mentioned you could go to 10 psi.

The tongue weight is about the same or more. Hard to say exactly. I have a one foot extension to clear the rear tire so that adds weight on the tongue. If I could raise the tire a couple inches there would be no need for the extension. I had a quick look. There are options for the regular Bronco but I couldn't find a Raptor option. Probably because you are more than likely raising the tire on the regular Bronco to put a larger tire on it. There are some on her that have 40" or 39" tires. I should find out from them if they raised their spares. Since this trip is coming soon I figured that is something to look into later if need be as I am molly paneling the interior of the Bronco and readying everything for the trailer. Even Xpel PPFing the upper rack where firewood and such will go. The 31 gallon water tank is in the back and when full it will add forty pounds. It was empty when I picked it up. It will be interesting to see how much of a difference that makes. They said it will help for sure. They mentioned a company that does electronic air bags. Not cheap say 3k. I didn't really pay attention as we leaving and it wasn't on the agenda. It seems if you want a pro shop to install bags you can. I will look into this if it is a big issue. The sag wasn't crazy bad. I seemed to accepted it pretty quickly. It would be a lot nicer without it but I don't think it will make a any difference with control and ride. It didn't on the way home. I don't think I will be bottoming out on the trail either. Do you notice any difference? Colorado is a long trip from here so I will know a lot more after that and also keeping the water tank topped off while travelling may be the way to go.

The springs made a little difference, but not enough. I was told the E-Click system would help, but I had the Icon Stage 8 system with IIC on my first Bronco Wildtrak, and it didn't do anything. If you can call them or give me the number to call them regarding an electronic air bag system, please, help me out. I have even considered building a custom airbag system based on the one on my truck. I have never bottomed out. I pack everything in the back of my trailer, even took the spare off the front and stored it in the back, added an 8-gallon tank to the back, and it still sags. Here's a pic, you can clearly see what I am talking about.

If you pack the front up, you will hit 300 to 450 on the tongue. When I bought this one, it had a storage box on the front, and I stored my BBQ, some propane, and tools. My hitch was rated at 425 lbs. The tongue is too long for a weight distribution unless I fab something for it; however, it's not ideal for off-road.

I will try and contact him. He is one of the founders of Off Grid trailers. They sold their company. He happened to be there to give me the walk through. He gave me his number. I called it a couple of times for questions and there is no voice mail. I guess it is a phone he uses for this kind of thing only. I can also ask at the shop. We shall see. I will try again tomorrow. He may simply just be on vacation and not answering that phone.

Nice looking trailer. I will try and find out.

I've searched just about everywhere, I found one guy who has the E-Click and Hyperco springs and swears he has no hitch sag. I have the Eibach springs and like i said it made very little difference. Thanks man

The past owner and founder is off camping this week with no cell service. That makes sense. He is back next week. I will follow up with him then.
