HI, Long story short. I put on a Eibach level kit and a Wheel alignment then got a full set of 39x13.5x17 KO3's with new wheels mounted and balance from the Store and shipped to me. Put them on and I get a little but not crazy shake at 54 55 mph I have no pull from left or right either. I took it to a tire shop and had them balance the tires again. They said only one was out of balance 1/2 ounce. He said that it was ok. I drove it home the same thing occurs. Do I need another alignment? or what to ask when I take it back to the tire shop? Thanks in advance!!!!

What you describe as a steering wheel shake or vibration is typically associated with poor tire balance. YMMV

39” meats are difficult to balance without proper equipment. I suggest you take it back to the shop that installed them and explain the issue. I would also suggest you get a “road force balance” to ensure proper set up. Good luck!

I agree with above. Try getting a hunter road force balance. I use it for my track cars due to the high speeds. It’s more accurate than traditional balancing.

Interesting cant wait to see how this comes out !

I have 38x13.5 mud tires. Knowing that mud tires tend to lose chunks on occasion, I went with this and love it:

I have almost the same set-up on mine and it is the tires. I was a little afraid when I went with the 39” K03. There were a lot of people saying they were difficult to balance with all different sizes online. Mine was shaky too. Play with the pressure in them. I started at 40psi and it was bad. 35psi is still there, but it’s a little better. From 30-32 psi cold was the sweet spot for me and when it stopped. Shouldn’t have to do this with tires that cost this much though. I took it back to the shop too and them double check them all and they all show balanced on the machine. These also took a ton of weights compared to the factory tires and also the Falken RT I had on before these.
