World's First 5.2L Supercharged V8 powered Bronco Raptor
This 1500 mile Bronco Raptor is the first to have the twin turbo 3.0L V6 engine removed and replaced with a Ford Performance 5.2L Supercharged V8 "Predator" engine.The result?Horsepower is now 760 versus 415.
Exhaust note is unmistakable, in fact you would think that a F150 Raptor R is nearby.
Austin based Stamperbuilt and ZF Worx made it possibly to fit this factory Ford V8 engine into a Bronco.
10R60 transmission replaced with a stronger 10R80 transmission.
The Bronco Raptor has been equipped with F150 axles from the factory so no need to upgrade!
Original 4.70 gear ratio.
Custom built serviceable driveshafts.
Stainless exhaust through the factory muffler and tailpipe.
Mounts, crossmembers, accessories, ECU, harnesses and fuel system all OEM spec.
This results in a turn key Bronco Raptor R - (The Bronco that Ford didn't build)
Driving impression?
An incredibly quick, fast accelerating, playful Bronco that loves high speed and retains the factory ride from the Fox Live Valve shocks.
OEM skid plate and center section of front bumper have been powdercoated black.
Factory Ford bead locks installed on original wheels.
All G.O.A.T. modes and exhaust valves function properly.
Active cruise control and all sensors operate properly.
Many hours of research and development went into making this engine compatible with this vehicle.
Special attention to detail so that every hose, line, harness and bracket is routed with plenty of clearance.
OEM 5.2L exhaust manifolds keep engine bay temps and noise down too.
