Nearly one year after its debut, the Ford Ranger Raptor has since gone on sale in a number of international markets, but won’t arrive in the U.S. until later this year for the 2024 model year. Regardless, Ford Authority spotted an international variant of the new Ranger Raptor driving around last year wearing Code Orange paint, and now, we have a real-world look at the U.S. market 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor, too.

Just one day after the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor was spotted coming off the assembly line at the Michigan Assembly plant, Ford Authority spotted this high-performance, off-road-focused pickup sitting in a parking lot, covered in an incredible amount of salt and road grime, because, well, it’s winter.

Otherwise, this Ranger Raptor looks pretty much exactly like the U.S.-spec variants we’ve seen previously. That includes familiar styling cues such as flared wheel arches, a front grille with “Ford” lettering, C-clamp headlights, matrix LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, functional air vents, cast-aluminum side steps, LED taillights, and unique 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires.

Unlike the pickup spotted on the assembly line, this one also features a “Raptor” graphic on the rear portion of the bedsides, however. Inside, the off-roader features front sports seats, Code Orange accents, a 12.4‑inch all-digital cluster, and a 12-inch vertically-oriented center touchscreen running Sync 4A.

As far as powertrains go, the new Ranger Raptor features the twin-turbocharged Ford 3.0L V6 EcoBoost, which produces 392 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque in every market except for Europe, where it generates 284 horsepower and 362 pound-feet, and Argentina, where the pickup generates 397 horsepower. In all markets, the mid-size off-roader utilizes Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission.

Barring any unforeseen changes, the North American-spec 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor seems to be essentially identical to its international brethren in many ways. FoMoCo has already ramped up production of the new model in those markets, and given the fact that this will mark the very first time American buyers can get their hands on a Ranger Raptor, it should prove to be quite popular in that part of the world, too.
