This may be a small thing but may avoid some confusion when using Aux switches later in your Braptor..

The Braptor uses Aux 1 for the Rigid off-road only Bumper Lights. Ford has swapped the 30 amp relay circuit from Aux 1 to Aux 3 to put those low draw lights in the Aux 1 position without sacrificing the 30 amp circuit needlessly.

Thank you for explaining, good info! Great advanced notice to this community.

Anyone know how I can use the Aux 1 wiring if I removed factory fogs. Aux 1 wire isnt with the rest of the upfitter wires in the engine bay

I’m wondering the same thing. I put in different pocket lights but just unplugged the Rigid lights meaning that wiring still goes somewhere just not to the other wires on firewall

After hours of research…. Looks like there is a pigtail available

The Rigid lights that come with the Raptor have a pigtail that goes to Aux 1 switch. The question is where does the pigtail from the pocket Rigid light go to get to Aux 1 if you want to use Aux 1 for something else?

I was hoping if I use this pigtail it would then plug into the Baja pocket lights I installed?

I need to revisit this thread

I ordered Baja designs fog pocket kit 44-8179-UP with the following:
1. squadron pro spot
2. S2 Pro driving/combo
3. S2 SAE amber

There are only five upfitter wires on the firewall harness

I understand AUX 1 was used for the second set of off-road lights in the fog pocket 10A (violet/green)

The dash switch was used for the first set of OEM lights, see pic

The pigtail wiring from @4x4TruckLEDs.com it’s supposed to allow use of the dashboard fog switch from my understanding which would still leave AUX 1 open for use.

Other than the plug at the bumper, where else can I access that wire display into using Baja designs wire splice adapters?

You need the dual fog harness and then the fog relocation harness from SVP. That will get both on the same switch by the headlight switch and then free up AUX 1.

I was trying to do the same thing with the SVP relo harness for my KC light trio in the fog pockets, but finally gave up and went back to the KC provided wiring. I couldn't get both settings on the lights to work, blew a couple fuses because I had not realized the Raptors swapped Aux switches 1 & 3.... this is a great head's up article, but I wish i had found it before i spent all night in the front bumper, lol ;)
