Your build is fun to watch! I'm anxious to see it all come together! :)šŸæ

Rear brake line seemed OK
Maybe a small issue if itā€™s fully drooped out while jumping or something
But I would think itā€™s OK having a little wiggle room from the OEM length of suspension travel
Video link

Ever get a chance to see the rear brake line at full articulation?

Iā€™m uncomfortable with how much brake line slack hangs down in back with stock configuration and was contemplating a brake line reroute.. upon further review that looks like a pain in the aā€¦. to do.

However, Iā€™ve also been contemplating a mild spring lift and hadnt considered the impact on the brake line. Your post made me realize it take up some of the slack but want to be sure it doesnā€™t pull the brake line on full droop, e.g jumping.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I was actually thinking about running a metal hardline along the axle

And then using that big factory rubber hose in the center to keep it away from getting snagged on anything

Honestly, after reversing 30 yards through Rousch Creek F trail this weekend I was really hoping it didnā€™t get snagged on anything

Iā€™m driving home. Iā€™m gonna add a bunch of updates when I get Wi-Fi.

Let do something easy
Deleted my obnoxious 2ā€ spacers
Nothing in the rear now
Smallest I could find two day air before the weekend was 1-1/4 inch
In the front only
Here are two pictures comparing the Old with the new amount of space

Sorry, no banana for scale

Definitely better but I would like to move down to the smallest I could find hubcentric which would be about 3/4ā€ of an inch

Next step would be the loose end of the ArmaLite flooring
When in pretty easy
Just flipped up the rear seats halfway
Made a couple snips of the carpet to wiggle out easier
Note to self the dead pedal has a cover that comes off if yours is not covered in mud like mine
And there are too small, like 10 bolts holding the pedal on
Let it sit flat for a bit while removing old carpet
But not in sun or anything fancy

Here is some install
The hardest area to do was up against the corner panels by the rear seats just like other peoples YouTube videos

You kinda have to just keep finagling it for a while until it fits

Pretty great quality
fit really well
And half of the cost of OEM Iā€™m definitely psyched

Iā€™m not sure where I left off with my Bumper progress
But I was able to lower the original hoop bar above the winch
Because it was blocking my adaptive cruise control ACC

I donā€™t know how close you can get to it but right now thereā€™s a couple inches of wiggle room
And only once in a blue moon, it pops up about a warning on the dash
But then it goes away and works fine

You can see in the picture above. I did a little sketch to my buddy about an idea to help keep the headlights protected.
Here are some pictures of that
I was also able to crudely put the parking sensors in not at the perfect angle
But I literally had hours to spare before leaving for the trip

Ok what else
Bead locks performed great at anywhere from 9 to 16 psi all weekend
As well as my $130 NAPA auto parts 12 1/2 CFM air compressor
Which was basically just a knock off of all the advertisements for quadruple the price I keep getting on my phone

It was able to take my tire from 9 to 30 PSI in 60 seconds šŸ˜Ž
In fact, it was even faster than the jeep guys twin ARB one in his jeep I met in the lot

Started off the weekend at Rosch Creek
Met a kid in the parking lot
We did one blue trail
And after going over a water pipe, he broke his back window from his antenna, hitting it when his vehicle flexed
He then also got a flat tire about 30 minutes later on a spiky tree stump

And then was able to link up with another few guys hitting that J Trail

Which I had me at about 28Ā° sideways trying not to tear the roof off of a tree 20 feet into the trailhead

But then it immediately got much easier
I was also able to do 23 Blue 11 parts of F across the street as well as crawl daddy without taking the cheat bypass

Iā€™m trying to create a YouTube account to put some videos on there for everyone to get information and data with the Bronco Trail App that I have actually had good success with
Until they canceled it and removed it from the App Store

Hereā€™s one without the Bronco Trail App
I was just trying to keep up with these guys to prove that I could hang with them all day
Did not have time to turn the app on

Hereā€™s the obstacle
Pretty capable jeep
These guys were super cool and patient
Honestly, I thought they didnā€™t believe I could make it through most of the day
And by the end of the day, it seemed like they wanted me to just keep going to see what the bronco would actually do
They seemed rather curious šŸ¤£

Here is a video of the bronco Trail app working properly
It seems to only just lose sound after 45 seconds sometimes
Iā€™m not sure what this trail was whether it was Trail 23 or 11
I just remember it was on one side of the park and you can dive in the creek to start to make it a little bit more challenging

See if it uploads this time
I pretty much spent most of the day before Crawdaddy driving through mile after mile of basketball to coffee table sized rocks šŸ˜®

I gotta do some unpacking
Iā€™ll see if I can get some more of this edited and updated tomorrow

This is not even half of the first day at Rousch
The second day at AOAA
I did not get much filming other than the trail app
Another guy got some GoPro footage. Iā€™m waiting for him to upload it.

Still trying for the third day at POTTS Mountain Jeep Trail
Trying to convert stuff from a bad Sim card on a drone
As well as sending videos from android to Apple through Google

Ever get a chance to see the rear brake line at full articulation?

Iā€™m uncomfortable with how much brake line slack hangs down in back with stock configuration and was contemplating a brake line reroute.. upon further review that looks like a pain in the aā€¦. to do.

However, Iā€™ve also been contemplating a mild spring lift and hadnt considered the impact on the brake line. Your post made me realize it take up some of the slack but want to be sure it doesnā€™t pull the brake line on full droop, e.g jumping.

Any thoughts?
Oh, I almost forgot about this
Yeah, hereā€™s a picture of my wheel hanging like a foot off the ground

With the 3ā€ inch RPG perch collar
It still seems like thereā€™s plenty of slack in the brake line
