Can someone explain to me why Ford offered the Bronco in the Wildtrack trim if they knew they were going to release the Bronco Raptor trim? It seems like it would have made it a lot easier and less confusing to just stop the trim level at Badlands and then announce the Raptor trim level. Even the description for the Wildtrack is "High-Speed Off-Roading".

It does seem redundant.
I think maybe they didn’t have their decisions finalized yet on the Raptor variant.
They needed something in that niche (I guess) to market.
The whole Baja/desert runner personality they push for it absolutely caused a lot of people to go WT.
It worked for me at first.
It came stock with the MIC, 2.7, metal bumpers, and the Squatch. It was all I wanted in one.
Until I realized most of my off-road will be the lower speed trails full of ruts, mud, and rocks.
So the BL fit the need better.

But back on the WT:
I think it was all marketing and it paid off for them.

Be interesting to see the differences suspension wise between Badlands SQ, Wildtrac and the raptor.
It should just be the Live Value shocks from Fox, right?

Probably different shock package for sure. Really curious about sway bars and if axles are wider or they just do a different back space on the wheels.

Looks like probably just a deeper backspace.
I wouldn’t see them carrying so many part numbers…but I may be totally wrong in that assumption.

I manage a factory and can tell ya carrying common parts is a gigantic savings in efficiency, storage, etc.

I think it will be fox shocks, back spacing, and frame upgrades.
I think you're right about that. It would be really cool if it got Live Valve Fox Shox 😎
