That would be great but no. We won't be able to get sub 5 second 0-60 times. That Hennessey has 603 lb-ft of torque.

The 2021 F-150 Raptor weighs about the same as ours but has 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque and manages 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds on 35" tires.

I suspect with our 37" tires and less "power", our 0-60 times will be in the 5.8 to 5.9 range.

Edit: I'd love to be wrong

Oh, you meant after modifying the engine/programming. Perhaps, but I won't be doing that to an 80k vehicle and I suspect I'm in the majority.

I will applaud and cheer on those that are part of the "we" that will be doing that.

The Explorer ST provides an interesting comparison. Same engine as Raptor, 1000 lbs lighter, and even with some incredible tunings (up to 657HP) never really breaks the 5-second mark. Hennessey must have worked some black magic on that Badlands.

Yeah, his site lists very little but he must have done more. Guys are getting crazy numbers running E85 but that's not how Hennessey does it.

Do you guys understand the process? A Velociraptor 400 is a fully factory warranty and approved Bronco, yes it weighs 1000 pounds less that a Raptor, has a weaker engine but everyone is saying it's not possible the Raptor is Faster or will come close..

I just can't see Ford putting out a product that is less than what's currently available to all Bronco Owners

How fast do people want to go in a flying brick? There is 0 aerodynamics to help us. I just want to be able to merge on the highway at a acceptable speed
