Hey Guys!

A couple months back, we attended one of the very first Bronco Raptor Off-Rodeo sessions in Las Vegas, NV, although actually at Mt. Potosi in Nevada and WOW, what a day! The event that Ford puts on for the owners of these vehicles is insane! While the video doesn't do it full justice, it gives you a taste on what the event entails.

We started off early in the morning at "Raptor Basecamp", a decorated building dedicated specifically to the Bronco Raptor. After check-in, we were given a nice lecture on the Bronco Raptor and the plan for the day. Afterwards, we had a brief live instructional period walking beside a Raptor to showcase some of the features we would soon later use on the trails, such as sway-bar disconnect and locking differential. Once we finished the demo, it was onto our own Raptor's, with some mild to wild trail climbing. After about an hour or so of some nerve-racking trails, we headed back to base camp, had a great meal, and headed back out for the second half of the Off-Roadeo; the fast paced desert driving. With about an hour drive of pure desert backroads out to what they called "Raptor Valley", we had plenty of time to rip our trucks as hard as possible through just about anything you'd ever want to drive through. Once we reached "Raptor Valley", we started the extreme "Baja 500 Inspired" courses they had set up out there for us, which of course included some jumps, sliding, extreme terrain, and much more! For hours, we thrashed these trucks to the absolute limit, of course keeping in mind these are still production vehicles.

Special thanks to our instructors Anthony and Brian for helping us through all of the intense courses.

excellent video, can't wait until my trip on the 30th.

I was going to do an Uber ride share from the hotel, there website says the entry roads are gravel. That most ride shares won't work.
thoughts?

Might be able to grab an Uber to the front of the access road from the highway, but the driveway up to the actual entrance isn't the cleanest terrain and about a 1/4 mile long. Doubtful an Uber will want to drive up there let alone grab you from there towards the evening, but never know.

I saw at least 2 people show up at the Off-Roadeo front gate in some sort of dropoff vehicle. Not sure if it was an official rideshare, or other transport for hire, or just friends. Worth an inquiry for sure.

I decided to rent a car, I don't want to chance out on missing this.
