KO3 available for Raptor (LR-C)

BFG’s KO3 tire is finally widely available for the Braptor in a similar configuration (37x12.5/R17 in Load Range C) as stock. But it is not an identical upgrade in terms of specs. Unfortunately for now, it is only produced with Raised White Lettering and in a slightly reduced speed rating (116R vs 116S) which means a max speed of 106 instead of the current 112. I can’t find any reference to future releases beyond 2026, so this may be it for those that want something close to the stock KO2’s. I’m going to talk with the BFG folks at Overland Expo next week and voice my disappointment with these tweaks, and see if anything else is in the works beyond ‘26. If not, I’m likely to jump ship to Nitto or Mickey Thompson…

Disappointing if they don’t come out with a 37” D-rated K03. Hopefully black sidewall too.

The D-rated used to be the 37” RWL tire in their K02 lineup.

It had a 6-7 lb weight penalty, but worth piece of mind after several side wall blowouts on my stock K02s at 26k. That was Still way lighter than a Recon Grappler or Baja Boss A/T

Interested to hear anything you find out.
