Hi M_Braptor, first off, bad ass ride!

I’m planning on doing the RPG collars and wondered if you went with an upgraded UCA as well? If not, how well did your Raptor align and any issues with angles with stock UCA?

Also debating between 37x13.50 vs 38x13.50
Is the performance and handling much different with the extra weight and rubber?

Thanks in advance for helping me out with some decisions.

No issues aligning with the UCA’s. I have to tell you, that if you are looking at using collars, I would go with Foutz now that they have come out with their line. They designed their collars from the ground up based off of the Braptor vs repurposing off of the f150. They are true height collars, and will retain the factory rake or you can go smaller in the rear if you want to level it. If you do that with the rpg’s you will end up with a very small inverse rake to the rear. Their UCA’s will also work with a negative offset wheel, where with the RPG you have to be at zero.
In regards from 37s to 38s, there is some impact, but it’s very minimal with all of the torque it produces. I think the only way you would notice is if you were to drag race them, I’m sure the 37s would win by a few inches.

Those wheels are very nice. Love all the upgrades except the painter fender flares. Still think all painted flares look hideous.

B_Raptor,

Thanks for the info and appreciate the input about the collars. I was torn between Foutz vs RPG, so that def helped me make my decision. I’ll be ordering a set from Foutz this week and will post after installed. Now the fun (and misery) of countless hours looking at tire/wheel combos! 😁

PS the painted fenders ain’t so bad! IMO

Good luck with the tire/wheel selection!

I guess everyone is welcome to their own opinions, but I’m not really sure what the point of his was. I can tell you that I have gotten rave reviews on mine :). I look forward to seeing what you decide on!

They are my go to shop!
Hey M_Braptor, I live in Georgetown and was going to have my collars, etc..installed at Ford dealer. Would you recommend Round 2 to do the work instead? I assume they do tires/wheels, etc..also. Thanks
