They are made in China and way overpriced for what they are. Anderson Composites is owned by Seibon International and use the same manufacturer in China as them. seibon's carbon parts are known to be really poor quality.

So im looking for a set of these to have my carbon fiber guy skin them for a significantly lower cost. Its just cosmetic anyways.

I was being facetious as yes, they’re priced at the insane level. I thought BMW carbon prices were crazy and these came priced on par. I won’t lie though I do want the gills and hood vent. I don’t want the price associated with any of them though.

That said, I like your approach to it.

When you say, skin them, what does that mean? Is that like putting a wrap on them that resembles CR?

Meaning overlaying the parts with real carbon fiber, resin, clear coat etc.

Does anyone know if the 2024 painted fender flares fit on the 2022 Braptor? Just curious because I lost the front flare driving down the highway and was thinking about replacing it with a painted set.

They will fit but they are not available as of yet from what my parts guy told me.

Pardon my take but I don't understand the obsession with carbon fiber. Purpose wise it is intended to be light and rigid (but bad for submarines). In the after market world it seems to have taken on the characteristics of truffle oil, where you put it on everything. Why the obsession?

I'm no longer doing carbon on the set I found, just going to paint them shadow black to match.

It’s a differentiator. It’s expensive and clearly identifiable, so folks can see your car is more special/expensive. That’s why we don’t see a lot of hidden CF parts or painted CF parts.

I like the look of CF. But I feel the market has trained me to like the look.

This 100%. There is no real value to it other than a highly marketed aesthetic.

Sort of like one of those premium factory paint jobs that are available on upscale German cars. Cosmetics that people pay lots of money extra for.
