Um, I'm 6 ft 6 and 300 pounds, I wouldn't want to be up there alone let alone with my wife. I'd wake up in the back seat. I don't think it would hold me.

That’s a good point. The roof rack would require bracing to improve the static load rating to make this a viable configuration. Good example is the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform with Backbone frame…holds up to 800-ish lbs in a very low profile package, and then you can choose any RTT on the market and not worry. I don’t know enough about that BadAss RTT setup to comment on its practicality.

I have a buddy that just pre-ordered the new Skycamp 3.0. Looks like a nice roof top setup.
