I do dig the look of this fifteen52 wheel (the Traverse HD in bronze) on a white truck. Looking for info on actual weight?

Hey guys, Am I crazy to say (hypothetically speaking) ….let’s say the aftermarket produces some smaller/sleeker fender flares (I happen to like the stock ones, to the disbelief of many) …..would anyone consider putting 35s on it to make it a better road going rig? I’ve never experienced 37’s, and wondering how much better that 3.0 liter would be with smaller tires.
Have you driven one at high speeds? I wouldn’t change to 35s….nope that’s a hard no! The stability and maneuverability on this “stock” rig are amazing…..the extra width is a game changer IMHO.

Exactly, well said. It's the wheel & tire weight combined that you want as close as possible to the original combined weight. In addition to above, the Raptor suspension and shocks are based on the Original wheel & tire combined weight for optimized performance by Ford Performance.
I just changed to rtr evo 6. Great wheels by the way. They are lighter. I have noticed it is more responsive accelerating etc.

I also sense a slight degradation of the smooth suspension travel. Not major. I wondered if the lighter wheel has affected the suspension responses ??? I am still very happy with the rims and would purchase them again. Any thoughts???

Welcome to BroncoRaptor.com 🍻 I'm loving these RTR Evo 6 wheels and as an added bonus, @Tye validated, they are only 22 lbs. The reduced wheel weight contributed to the responsiveness in exceleration. The smoothness is attributed to tire pressure or tire and wheel balancing.

Hi TurboS, first off love your Braptor!
I’m ordering the Vorsteiner wheels this week after going back and forth with a handful of wheels. But after seeing your ride, it has the perfect stance IMO.

For tires, what’s your honest opinion on the MT Baja Legend’s? I really want a 37x13.50 to fill out these flares and keep the factory suspension. These are one of the few tires in that size that offer a D load range. Surprisingly the 13.5 vs 12.5 is only 1 lb heavier.

How’s the road noise, wet traction, off road performance in your opinion? If they are horribly loud on the highway, my back up is the Baja AT in 37x12.50 as the specs show it’s actually 13” wide. I prefer the more aggressive tread pattern on the Legend MTZ.

Thanks in advance, as I’m sure you know how hard it is to research and select the perfect tire/wheel combo! 😁

Thank you but unfortunately this isn't my Bronco Raptor although the stock exterior portion is identical. I copied and posted the photo's from BJMotors web site when it was listed for sale, those are the 37x12.50-17 tires with stock ride height. Its still posted, although sold, in the link below with a lot more photo's and I'm guessing they did the tire/wheel upgrade.

Vorsteiner wheels and Lethal Performance are both supporting sponsors on this site, you may want to try calling Lethal Performance for a price on the wheels. I suspect the wheels would be shipping directly from Vorsteiner.

Forgot to post the wheels and tires I decided on after the 1” Foutz front level

Wheels - KMC Carnage 17x9 +00 offset
Weigh only 27 lbs and look great!

Tires - Yokohama Geolander MT 37x12.5r17
Weigh only 76 lbs and specs are 13.1” wide so they really make a huge difference over the stock BFGs

The stock tire/wheel combo (beadlock capable) I read are 100 lbs each and my new set up only 103 lbs so it honestly feels no different when accelerating, etc..but looks so much more aggressive.

I absolutely love this look!!!
What are you using for a lift and did you have to deal with the "electronic box" when installing front bumper?
I'm going to have to get me a set of Raceline's...almost old school look.
I personally think it needs a little chrome but that's not going to be a very popular opinion.

Hold on there, that chrome idea might not be so bad considering the wheels hearkn back to a bygone bronco era. This build is intriguing.

Thanks!
I used a 1.5" body lift and 1" RPG front perch collars.
The Relentless Fabrication front bumper required no relocation of the ACC box and both it and the parking sensors work perfectly (as does the front camera).
