Does anyone know what the weight of the ford forged wheels is?
Not yet, we know the 37" BFG KO2 is 63 lbs. Guessing in the 30's with the forged beadlock probably higher. The 2021/2022 F150 Raptor 37 wheel is ~36-37 lbs & very similar design to Bronco Raptor option2 forged beadlocks.

I do plan to get a set of wheels. I'm partial to Method bead locks and they'll weigh a few lbs less than the factory offerings.

I'm torn when it comes to the tires. I'd love it if BFGoodrich offered their 37" mud terrain in a load range C to keep closer to the 63lb mark. I might have to take the weight penalty for my summer tires/wheels.

Also worth sharing - related to this topic: I did the Off-Roadeo a couple weeks ago (which was excellent). the instructors asked if anyone had any experience off-road driving so they could be the 'chase' vehicle (last in line) and picking up / dropping off one of the instructors...interestingly, no one else at the event had any experience (which is also an interesting note WRT to the type of folks who are now coming into the fold via Bronco ownership)...so I ended up doing it and, hence, spending quite a bit of time in the truck with one of the instructors. We talked about all kinds of stuff but, on the subject of wheels, he and a lot of his hard-core off-road buddies were really big on a line of wheels from Method with something they call 'Bead Grip'...similar to stuff I've seen on certain mountain bike rims. They claim significant increases in bead-holding and do it on both sides of the wheel versus the beadlocks offered for the BRaptor...though the outside of the wheel is the more likely to de-bead. They're also DOT approved for on-highway use.
I ordered the standard wheel on the BRaptor with the intention of doing something aftermarket...currently thinking of doing the Method 702 in bronze on my white BR. (https://www.methodracewheels.com/collections/all/products/702-bronze-1?variant=13608308670525)

Great looking wheel. At 28.2 lbs should be lighter that our OEM beadlock wheels.

What tires are you thinking about going with your aftermarket wheels?
The pic above in post #30 are Maxxis 40x13.50R17LT, it's one of Americas Most Wanted 4x4 vehicles and has Hellcat power, therefore weight's not much of a problem.

If the aftermarket is able to engineer a BR small lift I would consider the BFG K02 39x13.5R17LT with the lightweight OMF wheels. For me, that setup would be entirely just for looks, after all I will be confronting those above AMW vehicles above on Silver Lake Sand dunes.
Stock height I may stay with the stock K02's and reap the benefits of the lightweight OMF wheel/tire combo.

Check out this Technical detail on the Bronco Raptor Chassis video by David Tracy. I've gained additional respect for our stock Bronco Raptors.

Then again, once I Actually get my BR, I reserve the right to totally change my mind! :giggle:

I think these are a good blend of sporty, but also look tough when paired with an aggressive offroad tire. I really like how lightweight they are too!

I had a set of these in the Highland Bronze finish on my F150 Raptor and loved them. They are surprisingly inexpensive, too. Made by Vorsteiner. I’m definitely considering them again for the BR.

Is anyone on here running 20-inch wheels on their Bronco Raptor like in the photos above? Inquiring minds want to know.

I just ordered a set of 5 wheels in the pic below. My son has similar Innov8 wheels on his Gen 1 Raptor and they are a work of American Made art. Forged from a solid block. Went with powder coated Black, and a grey deadlock ring. In the photo of my Son's wheels you can see more of the detail since they are raw finished.
