How do you know what # Raptor you have based on VIN?

Exactly!!! Your VIN decoder is incorrect
I’m confused, your VIN with 1FMEE5D is not a Raptor, Your sticker says it’s a BigBend. That would seem to be reading correctly at that point. it would need to be 1FMEE5J to be a Raptor. Where’s the issue? I’m curious.

Correct … but your decoder ring shows that Raptors have PLA8****

Not my decoder ring, but the two “decoder rings” above indicate that either:

1) 2023 Broncos will be between A80000 and C99999. This of course applies to all Broncos including Raptors. Pretty clear and hard to argue with.

2) That Raptors will START with A800001. I’ll assume this is a Typo and included one too many “0”s. While 2023 Raptors could potentially start with A80001, Its also somewhat problematic as they’re not guaranteed to start at that number, like 2022s did actually start at A50000 (which ran sequentially somewhere past A52800 with no apparent standard Broncos inserted in that series). However other than the typo, nothing technically wrong with this decoder ring either, unless one makes the assumption they will absolutely begin at A80000 and run sequentially like 2022.

My curiosity is satisfied, thanks!

The alphanumeric sequence number is complete and total BS. It is for Ford Production Control (only). That was the point of the post. It baffles me why people put so much stock in that crap. Everything else about the window sticker is spot on.

The post was about window stick info, not VIN specific. The example was for VIN 1FMEE5JR9NLA52827, so I fail to see what your beef is all about.

Also, the observations were NOT meant for regular Broncos.

Congratulations, you're in the same "B" boat as me. I'm currently 3/6 also. What color are you?

Too many zeros. I wish my paycheck had that problem.

Thanks, the alphanumeric sequence number is six digits total, as noted on page 2 of 4 in post #21.

When I get to my laptop, I'll fix page 1.

Dude … you’re saying raptors last 8 of the VIN start with PLA8 which this one does and it is not a raptor … vehicles are not built in sequential VIN order and not all PLA8**** are raptors ….
Dude, you are OCD. I never said that; that is what you ASSUMED. As JohnGalt said: 2023 Broncos will be between A80001 and C99999. This of course applies to all Broncos including Raptors. Pretty clear and hard to argue with.

No idea if I ordered good, cheap or fast but...my VIN is 1FMEE5JR5PLB00780 and my order just changed from scheduled to assigned to a plant. After four date changes,
Congratulations, you're in the same "B" boat as me. I'm currently 3/6 also. What color are you?
Did your order get assigned to a plant last week?
I think my March 6th build date may be for real.
