What did you do to your Bronco Raptor today?

With all the chatter on the BRaptor Fender Flare attachment & mount pins. Did you find It very challenging to remove and replace? Do you break the original pins, requiring replacements to be on hand to install?

It depends. On my ‘22 I decided to pull a flare to look underneath and broke almost every single clip. They broke pretty easily, so… no it wasn’t hard to take off. Ha ha

@Dgchurch has the warranty flares, they come off if you look at them too long. I think he only lost a couple clips.

IAG sells improved clips and they’re a lot better than stock IMO. Cheaper too.

Did you remove by taking inner skirt off and coming from behind or giving a good pull on flare?

IAG advertise Clips as BRaptor fender clips?

I haven't taken mine in for the recall, mine appear to be doing great!

No I didn’t pull the liner, but you’ll need to remove a few of the clips that hold the liner to the flare. It’s pretty obvious which ones. They’ll be outside the body line of the truck.

I’ve only done the front flare, no experience on rear.

Then you’ll just firmly pull the flare away from the fender. I started working from one side, but as I said mine broke so I’m not the best advice giver here. Also I had previously removed the “mud flaps” there may be something to remove there too.

If has to come straight out from the fender as there are a few molded “guide” plastic posts on the back side of the flare. Those make it easy to lineup and reinstall the flare later.

I will pull off a front flare this weekend as I have a little damage under it from a full send at the Raptor Rally this weekend. I need to drill a hole to stop a crack from spreading. 😳 Just waiting for clips to arrive, I used or gave away all of my spares at the rally

Amazon link for IAG clips, I buy here for free shipping and my 5% discount.

Hope that helps

Outstanding, thank you!
I'll order those for my toolbox.

I have a little flare edge damage on Rt Front. I'm repairing as mounted... but entertained getting a new Rt FT match painted. My repair as DIY Body man is nice but certainly not Pro Body work.
