Added a cable lock to help slow down any one that wants to take the removable winch. They will have to cut it to get it LOL. The way I route it, it keeps the pins from being removed. Will only use the lock if i have to walk away from the Bronco while the winch is mounted on the bumper.

RSE Gen 3's today with door delete and light kit and skids.. Fun project. Time to go smash some rocks!!

Very doable yourself with all the youtube vids out there. I did run some a heat shield sleeve over the loom for the parts nearish the exhaust.

Man, I really like the RSE sliders. I, like many others, are just hesitant of the steps not retracting. I have seen so many Jeeps going down the highway with one step down. Is it a magnet issue, or motor issue? Old issue? Otherwise, I totally dig them. I loved my Amp steps in the past, so these make sense. You are now the latest official tester for me. Thanks!!!

I had similar concerns and studied quite a few you tubes on troubleshooting and fixing everything on them from sensors, magnets, to motors and circuit boards. It all seems very serviceable. The one work around I put in place is the door delete kit. If you lose a magnet on the trail, etc... you can override with the door delete kit and run them manually or just keep them tucked away. From what I have gathered the majority of the problems on the Gen 3 stem from the magnets not being aligned. All that said, we shall see! :)

Coolio! I was wondering what the door delete was for. Hopefully, they run great for a long time.

Yeah the door delete is pretty cool. It's the black button in the pics under the seat. So if you take all your doors off it toggles the steps in or out. Pretty slick...

If they survive a year under @Dgchurch conditions, they’re a lifetime product for the rest of us…..

I had RSE steps on a Jeep I had and really had zero issues. They really are the real deal.

First time in the snow. Does this count as a mod? Lol

WOW am I glad my father moved, in 1960, his family from Minnesota to Phoenix, Arizona, in the middle of the Sonoran Desert.. Hotter than the proverbial hubs of hell, yes, but we don't have to shovel it. 😁

Almost as hot as California's Mojave!

I'll put my 95 degree 90% humidity sun's out in the afternoon right after it rains up against the hot dessert heat...LOL....remember the size and thirst type of bugs we have ;-)

You win all day. Fk them bugs out there.

Yep pretty much! I was driving around today with the wife and we both said how much we love the Bronco Raptor which shocked me with her as she is a high end Porsche, Aston, Maserati, Ferrari girl....literally shocked me...as she has a hot Maserati Granturismo with red leather...stunning looks not really an impressive ride to me.....then next was how we've loved Florida now for over 30 years... = winning

Great to hear. Heading out tomorrow on a 4 night trip with a few decent trails planned. Shall see how it goes and report back...
