The 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor has finally made its first-ever public debut at 2022 Chicago Auto Show! Until now, there has only been footage and photos provided by Ford and select media outlets. While Ford still has yet to release the final HP numbers, we know the 3.0-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 will at least pump out 400. Some of the other features include Raptor HOSS 4.0 race-ready suspension, a fully-boxed, high-strength steel frame, and 37-12.5-inch BFG KO2 all-terrain tires, and optional bead-lock wheels. I sure hope they bring it to the Dallas Auto show next month!
Today, Ford has started sending out confirmation emails aka "golden tickets" out to customers that were selected for the first wave of allocations. If you were one of the few chosen, be sure to let us know!
We would like to introduce a new style to the Bronco Raptor Forum! Due to popular demand, and some users having to wear sunglasses to combat the bright background of the current site style, we've been hard at work creating a new "Dark Mode" version of the forum. You'll also notice several new "Bronco Raptor" graphics have been incorporated into the design. This is still a work in progress, so if you have any issues, please let us know. There are two ways to access the new design. You can click on the "Moon" next to the search button at the top, or click on the "change style" at the bottom of the website.
At the launch of the 2022 Bronco Raptor, Ford brought along the rolling-chassis models of both the new Ford Bronco Raptor and the Ford F-150 Raptor. Seeing the two parked side by side provided an excellent opportunity to compare and contrast between these two very different frames that are each modified to be the fastest turn key high speed desert vehicles on the planet. Ford Authority leaked some new interior photos of the Bronco Raptor today. The overall design is very similar to the current Bronco, however there are some unique features worth mentioning. That includes a variety of red accents on the drive selector dial, A/C vents, grab handles, steering wheel, and shift boot. The Bronco Raptor has a large digital instrument panel / instrument cluster that is quite different from the regular Bronco’s analog and digital mashup as well.
