Our members are reporting that if your dealer is trying to place your Bronco Raptor order today, and you optioned for the Black Onyx interior trim with the optional Code Orange seatbelts, the dealer ordering system is not allowing them to add the Code Orange seatbelts to the order. We're not sure yet if this is a glitch with Ford's ordering system or if the Code Orange seatbelts are just not available to order yet. Stay tuned for more information as we receive it throughout the day.
We have liftoff! If you were lucky enough to receive a Bronco Raptor allocation from Ford's "Hand-Waver" program then today is your day to order! According to our forum member @CVSJR he spoke with Ford this morning and confirmed that Bronco Raptor order banks would open up at 3 pm ET today! Ford also told him that if you did not receive a Bronco Raptor allocation confirmation from Ford then you will have to wait until sometime in May to place your order. Ford Motor Company has filed a patent for a Ford Bronco Raptor diecast model, Ford Authority has learned. The patent was filed on September 9th, 2020, published on February 8th, 2022, and assigned serial number USD942897S. Currently, a couple of companies including Maisto and Greenlight Collectibles make and sell Ford Bronco diecast models, so it’s no surprise that this new Ford patent appears to preview a diecast version of the high-performance Ford Bronco Raptor. Interestingly, the artwork depicting this future model does not include the spare tire that the Bronco Raptor (and every other Bronco model) carries on its tailgate, however.
