Aftermarket wheels for the Bronco Raptor

I believe these are the wheels @DesertChief has intalled on his Bronco Raptor as seen in his 2nd BROTM winning photo.

KMC Mesa Forged Monoblock with knurled beadseat, designed to prevent de-beading and tire slippage while running tires off-road at a low PSI. 17x8.5, 0 offset, 23.77 lbs. Available in 3 finishes, black, blue, and raw aluminum as seen below.

I have these on my Bronco courtesy of Vogue Autowerks in Kirkland, WA. Got them powdercoated Vossen Branzino

I’m pretty sure he has Grenades, not Mesas.

What is that front bumper and do you have any issues with the adaptive cruise control? Well the camera or proximity sensors also? I'm asking because I think it looks terrific and could definitely be a purchase for me.
Sorry I’m just getting to this.
its from Relentless Fabrication. The ACC works perfectly and is not relocated. The parking sensors also work perfectly. I relocated the camera to the fairlead which is easy to do.

I’m sure the manufacturing is top-notch, but the design screams pavement, not off-roading.

The design is actually on & off road. Available in popular off road 17x9 and 18x9 with 0 offset for larger off road tires. The forged centers and roll formed barrels with have superior strength to the Raptor's OEM spun cast wheels as well as the aftermarket off road spun cast wheels. The additional outer ring design assists in strengthening the outer lip, similar to the RTR spun cast wheel designs. Agreed, they don't have any bead locking capability or bead griping enhancement capabilities.

17x9 with OEM K02's.

I went with the Toyo AT3s mounted on 18x9" - +18 Method MR315 Machined/Clear Coat.

Welcome to BroncoRaptor.com! Good choice on wheels, machined and clear coated aluminum is one of my favorites and looks great with the silver. The +18mm offset provides just the right amount of tire poke. How’s it drive compared to stock wheels and tires?

I agree. I did not want the tires to stick out past the Fender Flares. The +18 offset just has the very outside of the tire showing.

I prefer the Toyo AT3s over the original BFGs. I have the Tires set at 35/33 psi for a very nice ride.

I'm thinking of changing things up and I'm looking at non-beadlock wheels in either 17 or 18".

Has anyone moved on to the K03's from the K02's? I see they're available in OEM size now and I'd appreciate the better wet weather performance.

Anyway...looking at a few different rims from BC Forged since I'm a dealer for them. You're basically able to order any style, pick your diameter, width, size/offset down to the last mm, color, valve stem color all for the same price. So if you're looking at 18" wheels, generally there's no price difference in a 9" vs. a 10" wheel size. 7's will be less expensive than 18's. And they're all true forgings so super strong AND light. Thinking 18's would lose me a bit of sidewall and weight for pavement duty and I'd revert back to the OEM deadlocks for off-road.

Here are a few styles I'm looking at. The first batch can be had as a deadlock or standard wheel and as small as a 17" diameter. The deadlock ring can be specified a different color at no extra charge and there are a ton of colors to choose from.

Non-beadlock version of same wheel, and yes, it comes in 6 lug configuration as well.

I've always liked this simple design and it too can be had without beadlocks. Would be much lighter than similar cast designs that are available on the cheap.

The next batch is standard wheels only, no beadlock available and the smallest diameter is 18". I'm leaning hard towards the first one. In bronze and blue although I wouldn't choose either color.

Couple more photos of wheels on a Bronco although not a Raptor. First one is a mono block forging, true beadlock, second Bronco is a two-piece forged wheel which I wouldn't consider although it does look decent. You can choose the color of the beadlock hardware as well. A lot of the mono block wheels are less than 20 pounds in the 17" or 18" configuration. They generally are around 22 pounds in a 20x10" configuration.

These are mono block forged, 18x9.

These are 20x11, two piece forged. I personally wouldn't want to go this big but again, with the darker finish, they don't look half bad.

Wow, a lot to choose from. There are lots of options here.

Yeah BC is continually adding wheels to their lineup. Pretty much the best value out there in a forged wheel. They have several more styles available but I didn't post those photos as they didn't really interest me. But lots of good stuff to choose from. Takes four weeks to make and you generally have them on your doorstep by week five. I can certainly pass on the BRaptor discount to anyone interested.

K03’s will not be available in a 37” size from BFG until 2026.

What's this? Are you referring to a BRaptor-specific version that's lighter?

I will say I was dismayed to see the K03 is about 10 pounds heavier than the K02's and an 18" tire is no lighter than a 17 so I may have to rethink. Not sure what the stock rims weigh but even if I lost 10 pounds per wheel, the tire mass is still there and further from the rotational center..

Sorry I was talking apples to apples…which is to say Load Range C, like the stock tires. LR-C KO3’s will not be available until 2026. Obviously the LR-F tires will be much heavier. Not sure why they released those first….
