Am I the only one who thinks this whole “golden ticket” is a sh**show waiting to happen. I’ve been on the phone with dealers, salespeople and Ford Bronco “specialist”, no one will give clear answers.
If my selected dealer will not sell at msrp can I switch dealers?
How many Braptors will be produced?
How many “golden tickets” were offered?
I’d like a bit of info before I pony up 70-80k, it’s not that hard!!

Feeling your pain. Ford is gonna end up with even more disillusioned "potential" buyers at this point.

The biggest issue with production will probably be lack of parts, like chips, etc. So much is standard that I can't believe it will be like the Gen 6 fiasco.
I don't believe you can switch dealers once you have converted to an order. The catch is that you must convert your original Gen 6 to an order by the end of this month to move forward with your Braptor order.
I went in to my dealership yesterday to discuss the MSRP issue. My representative there I'm dealing with was a good buddy of my son's in high school and he recognized me as soon as I walked in. I feel they gave me as honest an answer as they could, which was "I'm almost positive we will be selling (golden ticket holders) at MSRP, but honestly It don't know at this point."
According to them, there hasn't been much Braptor communication between their dealership and Ford. I believe he said they have 7 Braptor ticket holders.
I have heard that there will be fewer '22 Braptors produced than there were First Editions, which were limited to 7000. It seems like I heard 3000 somewhere but I'm not sure. So, if we assume 5000 to be produced, I would I would further assume that at least 90% are going to golden ticket holders.
Lots of assumptions there, but that's all I got!

Just talked to my dealer a hour ago he wants msrp+ 10k
Getting my ducks in a row for tomorrow conversation as I’ve talked to other dealerships that will do msrp. Won’t be fun but this chapter of my life is about me.
I’d call ford first thing in the morning. I Called ford customer service two days ago and the ford rep told me the Golden ticket winners were msrp.

Well here is some info that helps all of us unfortunate "non winners".

2022 Ford Bronco Raptor Is Heading To The Middle East

While the Bronco Raptor is slated to launch in the U.S. this summer, Ford will only say that the high-performance off-roader is set to launch in the Middle East sometime in 2022, so it’s unclear when, exactly, customers will get their hands on the exciting new model.

All I can say is......

I’ll believe that when I see my Raptor at MSRP in writing. Nowhere in any docs sent by ford says you get it at MSRP (and you’d think that would be a pretty important bit of info to add if it were true)

At the bottom of the golden ticket email, mine says:
*Final transaction details, including price, are between you and the dealer
It doesn’t say…. “Congrats you get an MSRP Raptor!?!” In fact, that statement to me means Ford is acknowledging that there will be pricing games, so get ready….

Also, I wouldn’t trust a word the reps say on the customer service lines. If you call them twice, you’ll get 3 different answers.

Not that I wouldn’t mind Ford making an MSRP Raptor happen for golden ticket holders, I just don’t see them doing that with their current track record of allowing ridiculous ADM’s on the current Broncos.

My $0.02.

FYI
I did talk to a dealer in Iowa that is more than happy to take a transfer and sell at msrp. I would like to keep business local but….
In my entire vehicle purchasing life I never thought I would be happy to pay msrp. Crazy times we live in

Ummm...this is an extremely limited production elite off-roading vehicle. I'm sure there are plenty of other vehicles you can negotiate down on.

I waited on hold yesterday for about 30 mins and finally ended up talking to Karen over at Ford. She is famous apparently and extremely nice. She was super excited I got a golden ticket as well. She told me they have not been told how many Braptors they are producing or how the selection process was done for golden ticket holders. Order details won't be available until March and it sounded like to me we will have to go to the dealer to order and it won't be an online deal like previous reservation/ build. Not 100% sure on that, but that is what it sounded like to me. She also said that dealers should not be charging over MSRP on these and if they tell you otherwise to call Ford and tell them your dealer info. Apparently Ford is cracking down on that and they have had to get onto some dealers for outrageous ADM's. She made it sound like this Raptor thing was basically a reward for the early res/patient folks and it is not meant to be a you won the lottery now pay way more for a Bronco Raptor. She also said these are limited to 2022 only apparently and she did not know of a plan to offer them as a standard build in the near future. Maybe one day it will be like the truck ordering process I would like to think. They probably need to get caught up first. I also asked about the skid/ bash plate color and they don't know if it will be silver or black or both options. She also said that the Ford pass credit we were sent for waiting months back should also still be valid for the Braptor to add accessories. This was just my experience and what I was told yesterday. Hopefully it is all true. I was able to get my dealer to drop down to MSRP after being told it was going to be $20k over MSRP. I was also told I will have to sign something saying I won't sell it for a year or I have to split the profits with them. I told her this and she that was great and they can do that. All Ford can really do is limit allocations for vehicles to the dealers as a punishment. She said that Ford is not cool with dealers charging way over MSRP on these. Still, you will have to work it out with your dealer. Sorry for the long answer.

I waited on hold yesterday for about 30 mins and finally ended up talking to Karen over at Ford....
The email from Ford told how the selection process was done:

"Customers were selected for the opportunity to order a Bronco Raptor based on the criteria listed below:
• Reservation Timestamp within their dealership
NOTE: To ensure Raptors go to as many customers as possible, Bronco Raptor selection is limited to 1 unit per
unique email address"

Now, whether or not they played by the rules 100%, who knows..

I talked to Karen too. She told me the same this on msrp. She was a really nice lady and I enjoyed talking to her.

My dealership notified its ticket holders that the sale of the raptor would be at MSRP, which is exactly what that dealership sold the original 2021 broncos for, no BS, no drama, just great, dependable service.
